Postcard From Cornwall.

We love the month of May at De Rienzo Films. It truly is a beautiful time of year and not least because we also celebrate our wedding anniversary! We tend to visit Cornwall at this time, St. Ives being our favourite part, mainly because it has such beautiful light and lovely scenery to take in at every turn.

We would like to share a sequence from some footage we acquired - a montage in a sense - of this magical place.
We hope you enjoy!:)

25th September 2011

It has been a truly amazing year for De Rienzo Films. We have recently been nominated for 3 National Awards held by the (IOV) 'Institute of Videography' in this years 'IOV Awards 2011' to be held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on the 19th October 2011.

There are over 2000 members within the IOV of which many participate in the awards each year throughout the UK. The judges have to narrow down the submitted entries within each category down to a final 5 which then go on for final judging!

Our nominations are for 'Best Corporate Category' - 'Best Open Category' - and 'Best Music Category'

Below are our entries - We hope you enjoy:)

The album was named 'Eden'

Praised by many rock magazines draven now open their lives for the first time to the public. We hope you enjoy!

16th September 2010

We have just received some fantastic news today. We submitted one of our wedding films for assessment to the IOV (Institute Of Videography) and were awarded 'Fellowship Recommendation'!

Fellowship recommendation is given to work of an exceptional standard achieving a score of 90% or over. Not an easy task and few in the wedding industry achieve it!

Below is our entry in full. The wedding was filmed in the beautiful Glanusk Estate in Wales and a few celebrities were present, including Bonnie Tyler (Total eclipse of the heart!) and Lorraine Crosby who was lead singer for Meatloaf with the worldwide number 1 hit 'I would do anything for love, but I won't do that'.

Lorraine Crosby gave an amazing performance and you can see part of this at the end of the wedding film.

BBC Wales Radio presenter Owen Money gave a stellar 'voice over' performance, both at the beginning and as a guest at the main wedding!

We hope you enjoy....

29th June 2010:

Further to our previous news below we have more superb footage from our new Canon Dslr's and glidetrack. Taken in Cornwall with footage from the Helford River, made famous by Daphne Du Maurier and Frenchmans Creek!. We love the quality these cameras produce.

Thank you to my wife Rachel De Rienzo for taking part in this sequence.

Watch this space for more news from De Rienzo Films, coming soon!

20th May 2010:

We have been purchasing some new equipment to make our wedding films even better!, including a steadicam device for those beautiful flowing shots and a glidetrack shooter for some very realistic tracking shots which can be viewed in our sequence below filmed at Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire.

We are also very excited to be experimenting with the new Dslr technology from Canon which gives a very filmic look and are looking at incorporating these cameras into our future wedding films alongside our other equipment.

Thank you to my wife Rachel De Rienzo for taking part in this sequence.

We hope you enjoy the clip below showing our work using our glidetrack shooter and Canon 7D Dslr's.
